This October marks two years since Scottish Esports was set up as a non-profit body. Rather than celebrating one organisation, we want to use this milestone to celebrate everyone across Scotland who pours time, energy, and passion into competitive gaming and digital communities. From student leaders running university societies to local tournament organisers, grassroots competitors, educators, and industry advocates: the Scottish scene moves forward because of the people doing the work on the ground.
Often that work happens in silos, without much recognition or support. We want to change that. On Wednesday 30th September, we are hosting a casual social and pub quiz in Glasgow to bring everyone into the same room. It is an open invitation to celebrate what the community has built, connect with people across the ecosystem, and discuss how we can better back each other moving forward.
