Greenock, Scotland – Scottish Esports is proud to announce the appointment of Paul Graham as its new Non-Executive Education Director.

Paul brings nearly two decades of experience in Scottish education, including teaching, faculty leadership, and digital transformation. His background provides both strategic insight and a hands-on understanding of educational challenges. As a strategic lead for the Inspire Learning programme, Paul played a key role in the rollout of a region-wide digital learning transformation. A certified Apple Professional Learning Specialist, he has delivered professional development and leadership training to hundreds of educators. In esports, he led the design of the Scottish Borders’ ambitious regional programme, establishing a leading model for educational integration in Scotland.

“Paul’s appointment is a significant step forward for us,” said Mark McCready, CEO of Scottish Esports. “His leadership and decades of experience in education will drive our efforts to support and improve esports education in Scotland. This will strengthen the presence and impact of video games within our educational system and wider society.”

Key strategic objectives under Paul’s guidance will include:

  • Expanding the delivery of esports qualification across more schools and authorities.
  • Developing apprenticeship and career pathways into the digital and games industries.
  • Creating a national framework of educational support and CPD to help schools embed esports sustainably.
