A new way to connect, collaborate, and contribute launches Friday 26th September 2025.

Scottish Esports, the national body for casual and competitive video gaming in Scotland, today launched its free National Membership Platform, giving gamers, educators, and families a dedicated online home. The platform is designed to bring players of all ages and levels together, creating a safe, welcoming space for the country’s growing gaming scene.

 

Membership is open to everyone, whether you’re a parent looking for safe opportunities for your kids, a teacher wanting to guide pupils into positive digital pathways, or a gamer wanting to stay in the loop with local scenes and be part of something bigger.

 

Perks for free Members include:

  • Never miss the action – a national events calendar covering local tournaments, national gaming events, and community meetups.
  • Find your squad – connect instantly through the official Scottish Esports Discord, where players team up, share ideas, and discover new opportunities.
  • Stay in the loop – a monthly national newsletter with insider updates, upcoming events, and spotlights on players, schools, and creators from across Scotland.

Scottish Esports is a not-for-profit community interest company directed by industry leaders with over two decades of experience in the esports and games industry. The organisation is dedicated to leveraging video games for positive societal impact and has a proven track record of delivering key initiatives, including SQA esports qualifications development and the annual Scottish Esports in Education Mini-Conference. It is committed to strategically developing Scotland’s gaming and esports industry through community-led, best-practice approaches on both domestic and international stages.
