SUMMARY:Scottish Esports 2-Year Anniversary Social & Pub Quiz
DESCRIPTION:This October marks two years since Scottish Esports was set up as a non-profit body. Rather than celebrating one organisation\, we want to use this milestone to celebrate everyone across Scotland who pours time\, energy\, and passion into competitive gaming and digital communities. From student leaders running university societies to local tournament organisers\, grassroots competitors\, educators\, and industry advocates: the Scottish scene moves forward because of the people doing the work on the ground. \nOften that work happens in silos\, without much recognition or support. We want to change that. On Wednesday 30th September\, we are hosting a casual social and pub quiz in Glasgow to bring everyone into the same room. It is an open invitation to celebrate what the community has built\, connect with people across the ecosystem\, and discuss how we can better back each other moving forward. \nCommunity Events – Code of Conduct\nCheck out our monthly newsletter!\nScottish Esports Discord Server \nWhat to expect: \n\nA purely social environment for mingling and networking.\nQuiz night for those willing to test their general knowledge.\nA mix of grassroots players\, university esports societies\, tournament organisers\, and local games industry professionals.\nBacchus Bar offers a fantastic\, friendly atmosphere right in the heart of Glasgow City Centre (just a short walk from Glasgow Central station and Glasgow Queen Street station).\n\nNo equipment needed\, just bring yourself\, grab a beverage of choice\, and come say hello! \n(Note: Please check the venue’s age restrictions as this event is held in a licensed bar).
